the Ottawa airport for the Ukrainian president's official visit to Canada on
Thursday evening.)
(On Friday, Zelenskyy meets with Gov. Gen. Mary Simon at
Rideau Hall ahead of his visit with lawmakers on Parliament Hill where he will
address politicians in the House of Commons.)
(After visiting with the governor general, Zelenskyy is
chauffeured to Parliament Hill where he is greeted by Trudeau.)
(Zelenskyy delivers a speech to a packed House of Commons on
Friday afternoon.)
('Ukraine and Canada are the same. We stand, and we fight for
life,' Zelensky told parliamentarians. 'Ukraine, not genocide, will be
victorious in this war.)
(Zelenskyy receives a standing ovation from Trudeau and
parliamentarians after the speech. Before Zelenskyy spoke, Trudeau announced a
new investment of $650 million over three years for 50 new armoured vehicles
that he says will be built in London, Ont.)
