Kyiv. The light in the darkness.
^ This Valentine’s Day it may seem romantic to turn off the
lights and use candles, but to the Ukrainians, who have been without electricity
and heat for months due to the Russians, it is not romantic.
Ukrainian Fathers, Husbands, Sons and Boyfriends are at the Front
Lines being wounded and killed.
Ukrainian Mothers, Wives, Daughters and Girlfriends are either
being bombed in Unoccupied Territory or being Starved, Tortured or Killed in
Russian-Occupied Territory.
Yet despite everything the Ukrainians have dealt with and are
dealing with over the past year of War there is some light in the darkness – as
these pictures help show. ^
