I keep seeing commercials for Al Jazeera America - apparently my satellite TV company now offers it. The commercials show the poor and down-trodden Americans and how no one helps them. Why doesn't AJA report about the awful conditions in their own backyard? I have been to the Middle East and seen how they treat their migrant workers - from India and Pakistan - and how they treat non-Muslims and women. Those are the kinds of issues that need to be addressed. I think it is just plain disgusting to let such a network air in the US - or any country that loves freedom, is against violence and terrorism. AJA is clearly on the side of Al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups that only want to kill and destroy us. AJA tries to portray itself as "neutral" yet they constantly show videos that the terrorists send them (either with their propaganda messages or killing innocent people.) By airing any of these AJA is aiding the terrorists (they are helping to spread the message of hate and murder) and should not be aired on any self-respecting TV/Internet provider around the world.
