"STATE ISSUED VOTER ID CARDS NOW AVAILABLE"
Vouchers for free voter identification cards are now
available from city and town clerks. Voters whose name appears on the checklist
and who do not have an acceptable ID for voting purposes are eligible for the
state issued ID card for voting purposes only. Any voter who does not have an
acceptable ID on Election Day can still vote after signing a “challenged voter
affidavit” at the polling place. Acceptable forms of ID for voting are: a drivers license
from any state, even if expired; a non-driver photo ID issued by the Division
of Motor Vehicles; a U.S. military ID; a U.S. Passport, even if expired; a valid
student ID; a valid photo ID card issued by federal, state, county or municipal
government; any photo ID deemed legitimate by a supervisor of the checklist,
town or city clerk, or moderator; or verification of identity by a supervisor
of the checklist, town or city clerk or moderator.
^ This is an official statement from the State of New Hampshire that clearly states that anyone who is a resident of NH can receive a FREE voter ID card. Now there is no reason for any person or political party to complain that the new requirements are discriminatory since it is free to everyone over 18. ^

"STATE ISSUED VOTER ID CARDS NOW AVAILABLE"
Any voter who needs a voter identification card should
visit their local town or city clerk to obtain a voucher for a state issued
voter ID. Vouchers can then be taken by the voter to any Division of Motor
Vehicle Licensing Office for processing. A voter will not be eligible for a
free voter ID issued by the state if they already possess a NH drivers license
or a non-driver photo ID issued by the NH Division of Motor Vehicles. After visiting a DMV licensing office with a voucher, the
voter will receive a valid, temporary ID card. The original photo ID will
arrive in the mail approximately 2 weeks later.
