Whether in the sweltering heat of
a humid Summer Day or during a snowy Winter Blizzard the 3rd U.S. Infantry
Regiment, known as "The Old Guard," continue guarding the Tomb of the
Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia as they have since
November 11, 1921.
