Today is Cerebral Palsy Day.
I worked at an Overnight Camp for
the Mentally and Physically Disabled in New York) for 4 Summers.
Started in the 1960s it was one
of the first Summer Camps in New York, in the United States and in the World
that was for the Disabled. Initially it was for those with CP (Cerebral Palsy),
but later opened to every kind of Disability.
It was a lot of hard work working
there, but also a lot of fun.
