Shutdown Looming

The US Federal Government could Partially Shutdown this Friday (January 19th.)

If the US Senate, the US Congress and Biden don't sign off on this Bill before then it will affect The Departments and Programs dealing with: Agriculture, Nutrition, Transportation, Housing, Energy, Military Construction and Veterans.

There is a lot of In-fighting between the Republicans and the Republicans and the Democrats and the Democrats as well as fighting between the Republicans and the Democrats so who knows if this will be passed in time.

No Congressman/woman from any Party seems to care about the stress and effect of all of this on the Ordinary American. They (the Politicians) only care about their own Agenda and not about doing what is right for the country.

Even if it is passed it only further pushes the issue down the line until March 1. 2024. This should have been fixed back on October 1, 2023.

The other Departments: Defense, Homeland Security and State are set to lose their funding on February 2, 2024 but if this Bill passes it would be extended until March 8, 2024 (again this should have been fixed back on October 1, 2023.)

This Bill does NOT include any Aid for Israel or Ukraine – even though it is desperately needed.
