No Mandate

 

“If the Republican Party can’t come to a consensus on who’s going to be their Leader in the House. And they only need 218 votes and they have 222 what makes you think they can represent 330 Million Americans?”

^ For the first time in 100 years (1923) the Candidate vying for Speaker of the House has not won after the 1^st Vote.

Kevin McCarthy also hasn’t won after the 2^nd Vote.

Eventually, he or some other Republican will win (otherwise nothing else can get done in the House of Representatives) but that person will NOT have a clear Mandate to get things done the rest of their term.

In-Fighting between Democrats, In-Fighting between Republicans and Fighting between Democrats and Republicans.

It’s more of the same – putting themselves and putting their Party over the American People. ^
