Shame On Cuomo!

I talked to my Great-Aunt today and she said that she won't be allowed to visit my Grandmother next week - her Visitor's Appointment was scheduled for then has been cancelled. On July 22nd the Nursing Home section started allowing each resident to get 2 visitors once a week with an appointment (last week my Uncle and Aunt went - and made an appointment for my Great-Aunt to go next week.)

Thanks to Gov. Cuomo's Draconian Measures all visits have been cancelled for the next 28 days (because someone infected with Covid-19 was found to have visited the Nursing Home - despite its Visitors' ban - last April - they were there once 3 months ago and the "great" NYS contact tracers only now just found out. No one in my Grandmother's Nursing Home Section (employees or residents) have ever tested positive for Covid-19.

It shouldn't really surprise anyone (any New Yorker or any American) how Cuomo treats the elderly in Nursing Homes. He was the one who forced 6,300 Covid-19 infected people be moved from hospitals into Nursing Homes from March 25th until he was finally challenged against this stupid and deadly policy on May 10th. His actions helped lead to hundreds of deaths and thousands more infected. If you want to see the biggest Douchebag in Upstate New York just look for Cuomo.

My Great-Aunt used to visit her Sister, my Grandmother, every day from when they moved to the Nursing Home and Condo Sections in 2015 until last March (and before that they lived in the same building for over 50 years.) Now she has to wait at least another 28 days. She is heart-broken because my Grandmother isn't too healthy.

Shame on you New York State! Shame on you Cuomo!
