Ukraine: June 11th

From UNIAN:
"EU names date when visa waivers for Ukraine to take effect"

A visa-free regime for short-term stay in the countries of the Schengen zone for a period of up to 90 days will take effect from June 11, the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine reported on Facebook and Twitter.  "First visa-free visits possible already at 00:01, on 11 June," the European Union's Delegation in Ukraine wrote on Facebook.  As UNIAN reported earlier, the Official Journal of the European Union on May 22 published a legislative act, according to which the citizens of Ukraine would get a visa-free regime from June 11.

^ This is one more step that shows how hard the Ukrainian people are working to bring their country into the 21st Century and in becoming a Democracy. ^
