I randomly found a documentary on Netflix called "Into The Wind" and watched it. When the DVD came I watched it and was really impressed at both the documentary and the subject of the film: Terry Fox. I had never heard of Terry Fox before (even though I am Canadian - he died before I was born.) After watching the documentary I did some research and found a book about him as well as a biographical film called "Terry" and so got both of them. I read the book and watched the film and continue to be impressed with everything he did and stood for. Even though he died 36 years ago he continues to show Canadians and the world that you can do anything if you put your mind to it. Even though he didn't finish his marathon across Canada he did a lot to bring awareness to amputees and cancer. That fact continues today with the Terry Fox Run held around Canada and the world. I think people in 2017 can still learn a lot from what he did in the 1980s and should watch the documentary and film as well as reading the books about him and even doing the Terry Fox Run.
