With only 9 days left until the Federal Government Shutdowns
the House Republicans went back to their Home States today for a long 4 day
weekend - because of Yom Kippur.
That means nothing could be voted on until this coming
Tuesday at the earliest which is unlikely to happen and giving us only 5 days
to fix things so it looks like the United States will have another Federal
Government Shutdown.
The last Shutdown was from December 2018-January 2019 and
lasted for 35 days with 360,000 Americans forced to work without pay or not
allowed to work and not paid and cost the US $5 Billion Dollars.
Note: We had a Republican President and the Republicans ruled
both the House and the Senate at the time.
