Airmen/women, and Sailors currently in the US Military:
487,083 are Active Duty Army
352,358 are Army National Guard
That’s a total of 839, 441 Soldiers
in the US Army.
252,747 Civilians work for the US
Army
Since the US has not had the
Military Draft for 50 years (since 1973) every Man and Woman who serves in the
Army (and the other Branches) are Volunteers.
