I went to see "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" today. I waited until today to avoid the crowds. I have read all the books and really liked the first movie and so wanted to see this one in the theater (usually I just wait until it comes out Netflix.)This movie was just as good as the first one and while it didn't stick exactly to the book (what movie does?) it did a great job of telling he overall story.
Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Donald Sutherland, Lenny Kravitz, Willow Shields and Woody Harrelson all come back to reprise their roles and did a flawless transition from the first movie to this one. Sam Claflin, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Jena Malone are new additions to the franchise yet you couldn't tell by how well they help it flow. I can't wait until next year when the third movie comes out or 2015 for the last one.
