I just watched this movie and really liked it. The whole title was too long for the title, but it's "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World." I had thought it would be one of those movies where everyone thinks the world is going to end and so they go through the usual chaos, acceptance, etc and in the end the world is saved, but that didn't happen here. The movie had chaos and acceptance, but not the last part. I think Steve Carell and Keira Knightly did a great job. You could see how their characters changed throughout the film. It is fitting to see this movie now since there are people who believe that the apocalypse will happen on December 21st because of the Mayans. I don't think anything will happen - just like it hasn't every other time some group claims the world will end on such-and-such a date. Even if the world doesn't end on the 21st this movie still shows you that life is short and that you should try to live it to the fullest.
