Melinda Dillon, an American Actress who played the Mother
from “A Christmas Story” in 1983 and was in other films like “Close Encounters
of the Third Kind” in 1977 and “Harry and the Hendersons” in 1987 passed away.
She passed away on January 9, 2023 at 83 years old, but they
just announced her death yesterday.
