Golden Spirit Scholarship

From GoFundMe.com:
"Golden Spirit Scholarship"

The Golden Spirit Program is the first special needs martial arts program in the United States and possibly through out the entire world. The program (formerly the Black Python Program) is specifically designed to meet the social and physical needs of individuals with special needs such as autism, down syndrome, as well as others with physical, developmental, and mental disabilities.

The demand for this program is very high; however, with the increasing costs of services for individuals with special needs and the increasing financial demends on the parents and care takers this scholarship is to provide some assistance and relief for those in need to ensure that all the student's needs are being met on an ongoing basis. There are some other programs that do help with some of these cost, but the demand continue to surpass the finances.

The scholarship will be dispensed on an annual basis to individuals in need. Once those individuals with the hightest needs have been assisted, the remaining scholarship funds, if any, would go towards materials, operating costs, and equipment needed to keep the program opperating effectively.

Please do what you can to help this noble cause. Any financial contribution would help keep this much needed system serving the special needs community.

Thank you,

The Shorin Center
