Today is Veterans' Day in the US and Remembrance Day in Canada. Regardless what you call it the holiday is meant to celebrate the sacrifice that men and women in the military have made to protect their country. In the US many people tend to spell the holiday as: "Veteran's Day." Doing that means you only remember one veteran while using "Veterans' Day" means you remember all the veterans. The main point of today is to show gratitude to veterans and many places do that with parades, ceremonies and free items at various places (ie restaurants, parks, etc.) It is the least we can do for those who protect us.
