Today is Canada Day. It is when the different provinces joined together and officially became Canada (well the Dominion of Canada) in 1867. While it wouldn't be a completely independent country until 1982 - when the British Parliament no longer needed to give their consent to Canadian laws - it was the beginning of a long process that has made Canada what it is today. I haven't been in Canada on Canada Day and would like to see what it is like and how they celebrate the holiday.
