From PennLive:
“These are the best behaved —
and worst behaved — dog breeds: study”
All dogs are good boys and girls, but some are, indeed, more well-behaved than others. In fact, a recent study has revealed which dog breeds have more manners—and, by default, are the “naughtiest”—out of them all. Appropriately titled “Mischievous Mutts,” Protect My Paws—pet insurance company and the study’s conductor—sifted through Instagram to see which hashtags were associated with certain dog breeds the most across the globe. These hashtags included the likes of “#gooddog,” “#baddog,” and “#muddydog” in order to see which pooches had the most praises for being properly reared and which were just a teensy bit devilish. What Protect My Paws found was that the Korean Jindo Dog is by far the most well-behaved dog breed with nearly 76 percent of posts touting positive behavior tags. On the flip side of things, the Japanese Spitz is the not-as-mannered breed with a total of almost 87 percent of Spitz posts reporting “bad behavior.” “If being affectionate is a crime, the snowball known as the Spitz is going straight to the doghouse,” says the study. “Couple this lack of respect for your personal space with a mischievous sense of humor, and you can expect to be clambered over, interrupted, snuzzled, and maliciously cuddled. What a villain!” You’ll also be proud to know that 47 out of the 50 U.S. states believe their dogs to be very well behaved, thank you very much. States such as Kansas and North Carolina, however, gave their dogs “bad” reviews, both of which were in the 50 percentiles (which, really, does that actually count?). Regardless of “good” or “bad” hashtags, though, we’re going to like an Instagram post of a dog no matter what.
^ I don’t know if this is right
or not, but I do know my dog is the best behaved. ^
