Hypocritical Candidates

From WMUR:
“Amherst's Fourth of July parade features five presidential candidates”

In New Hampshire, we hold this truth to be self-evident: When the Amherst parade steps off on the Fourth of July the year before a primary, presidential candidates from across the country will be out in strength.  "New Hampshire has such a history. In our parades in Minnesota, we don't have those colonial features because we didn't have that. It's just wonderful to be here. This is one of the birthplaces of freedom,” said Democratic candidate Amy Klobuchar. Both Klobuchar and fellow candidate Kirsten Gillibrand marched with big crowds of supporters. "1776, we fought for this country we fought for our democracy, we fought for our right to be a free people. We've been working on that freedom for all people for the last 200 years,” Gillibrand said. Tulsi Gabbard, another Democratic candidate, brought some Aloha spirit from her home state of Hawaii.  “It's great to be here. It's a beautiful day,” she said. “Tons of supporters and just people coming out as a reminder of how much we appreciate the freedoms we have in this country." Most candidates attended several parades Thursday, so that meant they needed a strategy to stay cool. “Lots of sunblock,” said Democratic candidate John Delaney. “I've got a few shirts in the car, and just try to move around and meet as many people as possible.” Former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld, mounting a Republican primary challenge to President Donald Trump, is also focused on the Granite State. He said the Fourth is the essential American holiday.  “To me, it's celebrating the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution -- 1776 and 1787 -- and how far we've come. And we just have a tremendous amount to be grateful for as a country,” he said.

^ People are saying that it is wrong for Trump to have appeared at the "Salute to America" July 4th parade and fireworks show because America's Independence Day celebrations should be a "non-partisan celebration." If that is true then why did 4 Democratic Presidential Candidates (Amy Klobuchar, Kirsten Gillibrand, Tulsi Gabbard and John Delaney) and 1 Republican Presidential Candidate (Bill Weld) take part in the Amherst 4th of July Parade in New Hampshire? I don't really care who goes to what parade or event. I just don't like dealing with hypocrites. If you are against something then you are against it for everyone. You can't just cry about one person while everyone else is doing the exact same thing. ^
