The other day Obama decided to speak without thinking and told Israel that a Middle East peace deal would be based on the 1967 borders. Not only did Obama not think about this (and if he did than he is even dumber than I thought) but is also going against US policy towards Israel that has lasted since Israel was founded in 1948.
I do not like he says things in the name of the American people - especially when what he is saying goes against every key American trait.
Luckily, Israel is standing up for itself and told Obama that it would not accept a two-party state with the 1967 borders. If they did it would mean hundreds of thousands of Israelis would find themselves living outside of Israeli territory.
Obama should focus on making the Palestinians stop their suicide attacks and missile attacks in Israel before he tells the Israelis what they should do. Then they (the Palestinians) need to officially recognize Israel's right to exist. Israel has every right to defend itself against the Arabs and Palestinians that officially call for it's destruction and have started dozens of wars and other terrorist acts to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth. Despite all odds, Israel not only survives after over 60 years of being invaded, attacked and bombed by all its neighboring countries, but it thrives.
It is clear that Obama is way over is head in all this and should get a tutor to teach him about what has been going on in the Middle East in the last 60 years.
