Nearly 6 months into Russia’s Genocide in Ukraine has left every Ukrainian Man, Woman, Child and Animal affected.
(Here are some
pictures of Ukrainians living through the Russian Hell in Ukraine while also
caring for their Animals and their Pets. There are more pictures on my Blog.)
The Russians
have declared their intent to destroy Ukraine from the face of the Earth and
they have backed their words with actions: Bombing hospitals, schools,
theaters, apartments and homes; Raping Men, Women, Girls and Boys; Torturing
Civilians; Kidnaping and Forcibly Deporting Ukrainians and sending them to “Infiltration
Camps” inside Russia; Forcibly Russifying the Ukrainians under Russian
Occupation and Murdering Civilians and Soldiers alike.
Throughout all
this Russian Horror the Ukrainians continue to fight on. They fight for their
Country, they fight for their Cities, they fight for their Homes, they fight
for their Culture, they fight for their Pets and Animals, they fight for their
Families and they fight for their Lives.
The Russians
cannot understand the Ukrainians’ determination to live since they (the
Russians) have been the Aggressors throughout most of their History – even when
they always play the Victim.
I have always
believed you can tell the true nature of a Person by how they deal with Animals
and Pets. I have lived in Russia two times and visited there 3 times and have
seen the Russians treat their Animals and Pets in horrendous ways - kicking them
on the streets, leaving them outside in -40 F weather so they freeze to death
and even shooting at them for sport.
The first time
I went to Russia I saw the Russian’s Animal Cruelty. After a 10 hour flight to
Moscow I was on a train to Yaroslavl (sitting on a hard wooden bench for 4 hours)
when the Conductor Woman walked up and down the train holding a small kitten
and saying something in Russian - which
I didn’t understand at the time – and then she opened the train door and threw
the kitten out into the dark, cold and snow
I saw similar
cruel acts in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Vladimir, Suzdal and Yaroslavl over the
years and trips I made to Russia.
I also had
several Neighbors accost me once in the door way of my apartment building for letting
a dog inside the building to warm up when it was sub-zero and snowing outside.
I stayed with the dog the whole time and no other People came by – until the
next day when 5 of them came up to me and started shouting and screaming to me
about what I had done.
At the time I was
fluent in Russian and could have made my thoughts on their Animal Cruelty known,
but instead I said the following – but in Russian: “Dog good – people bad.” I
then walked past them and saw them running up to complain to my Landlady about
my horrible crime of helping a freezing dog.
I also visited
a Russian Veterinary, a Russian Public Animal Shelter and a Russian Private
Animal Shelter - as part of my Russian Classes in Yaroslavl and the horrors I
saw in those places were disgusting.
Ukraine has to
defeat Russia because Good has to beat Evil.
