International Appeal!

Next Tuesday, March 8, 2022 is International Women’s Day (Международный женский день in Russian and Міжнародний жіночий день in Ukrainian) in Russia, Ukraine and other countries around the world.

It is a bigger Holiday than Valentine’s Day and has been a Non-Working Holiday since 1965.

We are asking everyone around the world to honor the Ukrainian Women and Girls that have been wounded, that have been killed, that have been forced to flee their homes/country and that have had to stop their ordinary and peaceful lives to take up weapons and their bare arms to defend themselves and their Families from the Russian Invaders.

To honor these brave Ukrainian Women and Girls on International Women’s Day please DO NOT send any cards, letters, flowers, chocolates, presents or congratulations to Russian Women and Girls on March 8, 2022.

You can send your cards, letters, flowers, chocolates, presents and congratulations to Russian Women and Girls the next day – March 9, 2022.

 It is a small yet important thing we can ALL do to show our disgust for Putin’s War and the Russian Silence while also showing our support for the courageous Ukrainian Women and Girls.
