KSAR: Misha

From the Kabul Small Animal Rescue’s Facebook:

Here's something that's entirely sweet and, dare I say, not contentious at all! Someone has started a hashtag #flowers4ksar and it's lovely photos of pets with flowers and Christmas trees with a little shout out for our fundraisers. I'd like to think it can do nothing but elicit a smile. Here is beautiful Misha with a rose of her own, hopefully soon to go to her home in Canada!

As we shovel snow off roofs and try to drum up the remaining funds needed to fly out our huge load of animals, Maggie May’s puppies have turned into chubby little monsters with huge personalities! We will be moving them to a much larger room where Maggie will have some outdoor space to run around as soon as the other animals board the plane. For now they are a little cramped, but they don’t seem to notice!

Please help us raise the funds needed for this trip. It costs us a boatload just to keep them all alive here, with prices high for all food and medicine and more facility space.

^ I’ve donated twice already because I have seen for months how hard they have worked to save these abandoned and/or abused animals despite the dire situation over there.

Getting over 300 animals to the safety of Canada (they are going to Canada because of American Laws) where they can then be reunited with their American, Canadian, British, Afghan Families that had to leave them behind when they fled Afghanistan as well as finding homes to those without any is very important especially as Winter and the snow and cold hit Kabul.

Not only will these 300 animals get a better life and, in many circumstances, be reunited with their previous Owners, but it also frees up resources in Kabul so the KSAR can continue to help the abandoned and abused.

Please check out the links and donate and/or share. ^
