Pot Vs Kettle

- Canada has started to crack-down on illegal immigrants entering Canada. They have sent delegations to Mexico, Central America and South America to force those countries to stop aiding illegal immigrants from those places to come to Canada. They are also streamlining their immigration policies to allow for faster deportations from Canada and to sanction the home countries that refuse to take their own citizens back.
- The EU has decided to severely limit the amount of asylum seekers into their member-states. They are also going to send any illegal immigrants to detention centers in North Africa (rather than keeping them in the EU as they currently do.) Many EU member countries are also re-enforcing the fences and walls surrounding their borders with non-EU member countries as well as imposing checks going from one EU country to another EU country (thus getting rid of the "freedom of movement" enshrined as the basis of the EU itself.) France destroyed a major illegal immigrant camp in Calais and deported everyone out of France and not always to their home country - that included separating Gypsy children from their parents while the parents were deported out of the country and several weeks later the French Government went to the local schools and rounded-up the Gypsy children in a big-show-of-force and deported them separately. Italy is about to start mandating that all Gypsies in Italy be counted and if not Italian or EU citizens be deported.
- Mexico has strict laws to punish illegal immigrants that come from Central or South America. Many are sent to corrective prison camps within Mexico where they must work outside in the heat and humidity with little to nothing to eat or drink.
^ Illegal immigration is a crime throughout the majority of the world. Illegal immigrants are criminals (since they committed a crime.) The countries that use the United States as a scapegoat for their own inability to deal with the escalating illegal immigration problem are now coming face-to-face with the real issues and many are turning to the same, if not worse, practices on detaining and deporting illegal immigrants from their own borders. It is literally the pot calling the kettle black. Yet no one cries "foul!" on them. ^
