Big Brother

The "Big Brother" Season Finale was tonight. I have to say that I didn't really care for this season as a whole. There were only 3 people actually playing the game (out of 17.) To be fair one of those 17, Cameron, didn't really get much of a chance since he was voted out the first day, but he did play hard to get back in. The three people I think played the game are: Cody, Jessica and Paul. While Paul played the game I just didn't care for him (this season or the previous one.) He just seems so fake. The only reason Josh won was by default. More people didn't want Paul to win so had to vote for Josh. Josh was just a cry-baby, wimp the whole game.

I thought Cody really played the game. He is my favorite player (and apparently most' people's since he won America's Favorite vote.) He didn't sugar-coat things or suck-up to Paul. He may have gone farther if Paul wasn't on this season playing the puppet-master on everyone else. Jessica did well in grounding Cody, most of the time, and it would be nice to see if they are more than a showmance. I have to admit I stopped watching the show when Cody was first voted off since I could see that it was Paul and all his groupies left playing (minus Jessica.) I went back to watching when Cody fought to come back and won and then stopped again once he was voted off a second time. I then watched tonight's finale (mainly for the jury discussions.)

I would like to see Cody come back to "Big Brother" or even on to another show (like "Survivor") but I don't think he will. Hopefully the next time "Big Brother" is on -  not the celebrity edition this Winter, but when it's back to regular people - the show does more to find more people who can think and act for themselves (like Cody) rather than be a lemming. To me that makes for more of an interesting show.
