US Corporal Schools

From Wikipedia:
"School corporal punishment in the United States"

The Blue states  = Corporal punishment legal in the home, banned in public schools.
The Red states = Corporal punishment legal in homes and schools.

^  While I do not personally agree that corporal punishment should be allowed in schools. That kind of punishment should be reserved for the parent or legal guardian. I understand that the majority of parents nowadays do not adequately teach their children right from wrong or punish them when they do something bad. Parents would rather either be their kid's friend or ignore them completely rather than be a parent. This has created a generation of spoiled, arrogant, self-righteous children who will one-day become spoiled, arrogant, self-entitled adults. Parents need to be legally held more accountable for what their 17 year old and under children do or don't do. Maybe then they will start taking an active interest in raising their kids correctly and there wouldn't be so many problems in our schools that would require corporal punishment. ^
