Ireland: Donegal

From Northern Ireland Des took us into the Republic and along the coast. We stopped in several places for pictures and food and made our way to Donegal. We ate at a pub in Donegal and while Des, my mom and me were outside (Des and my mom were smoking) the waitress came out and thought we had left without paying. We told her my dad was still sitting at the table. I don't think we would have been that stupid to eat and then leave without paying just to wait right outside the entrance for a cigarette.
We checked-in to our hotel, Lough Eske Castle (although I would call it a manor house and not a castle.) Whatever it is called, it was really nice inside. They even had a small elevator that allowed my mom to go to my room and not have to walk down the 3 steps.
The picture at the top is of the entrance of the castle hotel.
We always got a full Irish Breakfast at every hotel (although in Northern Ireland it was called a full Ulster Breakfast), but the breakfast at Lough Eske Castle was the best on the whole trip. The only downside to the hotel was that there was no real view - no mountains or lakes - only trees.
