Dream Mission

Balloon Bombs

Many People think that the only American Territory the Japanese attacked during World War 2 was Pearl Harbor in the then US Territory of Hawaii.

In fact the Japanese also invaded and occupied parts of Alaska (then a US Territory) from 1942-1943, the US Territory of Guam from 1941-1944 and the then US Territory of the Philippines from 1942-1945.

I just watched “The Great Balloon Bomb Invasion” on TV. I knew about the Japanese using Balloon Bombs over the US, Canada and Mexico during World War 2, but this show goes more in-depth.

From November 3, 1944 until April 1945 the Japanese used 9,300 Balloon Bombs (designed as a cheap weapon intended to make use of the Jet Stream over the Pacific Ocean and drop bombs on American cities, forests, and farmland.)

While most of the Bombs did little to no damage on May 5, 1945 a Minister Archie Mitchell, his Pregnant Wife Elsie  and five Children from Mitchell's Sunday School Class (Dick Patzke, 14; Jay Gifford, 13; Edward Engen, 13; Joan Patzke, 13; and Sherman Shoemaker, 11) were on a Saturday morning picnic outside of Bly, Oregon when a Japanese Balloon Bomb landed and killed all of them except the Minister – who was looking for a place to park the car – survived. The Boys (Dick, Jay, Edward and Sherman) were killed immediately, the Girl (Joan) initially survived but later died and Elsie initially survived, btu died as her Husband (Archie) used his hands to put out the fire on her.

History's Teddy

I watched the first episode of "Theodore Roosevelt" tonight. 99% of what the History Channel shows has no bearing on History, but when they actually do something historical like "Theodore Roosevelt" or "Grant" they do it well.

Biden Remembers

From News Nation:

“Biden honors fallen US service members”

(Joe Biden participates in a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Memorial Day at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, May 30, 2022.)

President Joe Biden honored fallen U.S. service members on Memorial Day by laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and delivering remarks. The president was joined by first lady Jill Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris in a somber ceremony at the Virginia cemetery, which is dedicated to the fallen U.S. service members whose remains have not been identified. He has attended the Arlington ceremony nearly every year for decade. “Memorial Day is always a day that is mixed with pain and pride,” Biden said. “They chose a life of purpose,” Biden said in remarks after the ceremony. “They had a mission, and above all they believed in duty, they believed in honor, they believed in their country, and still today we are free because they were brave.”

Hours before the ceremony, the president and first lady attended a memorial Mass for Beau Biden, who died of brain cancer seven years ago Monday. Beau also was a veteran, a personal connection the older Biden has drawn upon in the past on Memorial Day. Beau Biden served two terms as Delaware’s attorney general before declaring a run for governor. He also served in Delaware’s National Guard.

This year’s Memorial Day comes just months after the U.S. withdrawal in Afghanistan, which marked the end of America’s longest war.

^ Sadly, President Biden hasn’t done much in terms of Domestic or International Affairs (with the exception of Ukraine) and so this Memorial Day we have to also remember his many mistakes including the chaotic and deadly American Withdrawal from Afghanistan that “surprised” him since this is the first Memorial Day after that mess which added 13 American Soldiers to those we have to remember this Memorial Day because they died in combat protecting us. ^

Embassy Names

From the MT:

“Muscovites to Vote on Pro-War Names for U.S. Embassy Square”

(The U.S. Embassy in Moscow)

Muscovites are voting to name a square outside the city’s U.S. embassy in honor of Russia’s war in Ukraine. Residents will choose from three potential names for the currently untitled square at the intersection of Bolshoy Devyatinsky Lane and Konyushkovskaya Ulitsa, where the U.S. embassy is located. They are “Defenders of Donbas Square,” “Donetsk People’s Republic Square” and “Hero of Russia Vladimir Artyomovich Zhoga Square,”  in honor of a separatist battalion commander who was killed in combat on March 5.

Muscovites, who will vote digitally via Moscow City Hall’s Active Citizen platform, also have a fourth option: delegating the decision to local officials. “The Moscow city administration has received numerous requests from citizens with different names [for the square], so we decided to put the issue to a city-wide vote,” Active Citizen said on its website. “As a result [of the vote], the city map will be immortalized in memory of the defenders of Donbas from neo-Nazis,” it said, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s claims that the Kremlin’s invasion of Ukraine would “denazify” the country.  The Active Citizen platform had registered at least 25,000 votes at the time of writing, but did not indicate when voting would close. Moscow City Council petitioned earlier in May to name the small piece of land “Defenders of Donbas Square” and use it as the U.S. Embassy’s address.

The U.S. Embassy in Moscow said it was “surprised, but not offended” by the proposal and offered its own interpretation of the suggested name. “‘Defenders of Donbas Square’ is presumed to be in honor of Ukrainian soldiers bravely defending their homeland from Kremlin aggression,” it said on Telegram on May 19. The proposal mirrors similar changes in European capitals, where streets have been renamed in support of Ukraine since Russia invaded its pro-Western neighbor in late February. In 2018, Washington voted to rename a square in front of the Russian embassy in the U.S. capital in honor of slain opposition politician Boris Nemtsov.  Russian lawmakers at the time denounced the unveiling of Boris Nemtsov Plaza as “offensive,” with one offering a counter-proposal to rename the U.S. Embassy’s address in Moscow to “North American Dead End, 1.”

^ The US should rename the Street outside the Russian Embassy in Washington DC to Volodymyr Zelensky Street (in honor of this great Man who is defeating Russia and their Nazi Zs.)

The Street outside the Russian Consulate in New York City should be renamed to Bucha Massacre (to honor the 1,000 Civilians  - including 31 Children - that were Raped, Tortured and then shot in the back and left on the streets or in the basements by the Russians outside Kyiv.)

The Street outside the Russian Consulate in Houston should be renamed Go F&%K Yourself to honor the bravery of all Ukrainian Men, Women and Children that are standing up to Putin and the Russian Nazi Zs.

Every other country around the world should do similar things to the Streets where they have Russian Embassies or Consulates.

There are Russian 242 Diplomatic Posts around the world, with 143 Embassies, 87 Consulates and 12 other Diplomatic Missions. Sadly, there are also more than enough Russian War Crimes in their 3 month War in Ukraine to rename every Street without having to reuse names. ^

Cost Of War

I paid $87 for gas today. But you know what I didn’t do today?

I didn’t flee from my home that is being invaded.

I didn’t grab my dogs and hurriedly pack a bag, leaving everything else behind.

I didn’t spend the night in a bomb shelter.

I didn’t lose every member of my family.

I didn’t place my trust in a stranger to keep me alive.

I didn’t say goodbye to the life I know and enter into a world of unpredictability.

I didn’t sleep in a Red Cross tent.

I didn’t call loved ones to say goodbye.

I’ll pay the $87 every time, because comparatively, it’s such a small price to pay.

^ Russia is to blame for the high gas prices, the high food prices and all the shortages. By invading and fighting in Ukraine they are not only butchering innocent Men, Women and Children, but they are also trying to hold the World hostage by keeping Ukraine from exporting to us. Until Putin and his Russian Z Nazis stop their Rape, their Torture, their Murder and their other War Crimes in Ukraine the prices of everything around the world will only continue to go up and the shortages will increase.

We need to continue to give Ukraine everything they need to defeat Russia. ^

Memorial

Memorial Day

Memorial Day is observed on the last Monday of May. It was formerly known as Decoration Day and commemorates all men and women who have died in military service for the United States. Many people visit cemeteries and memorials on Memorial Day and it is traditionally seen as the start of the summer season.

Is Memorial Day a Public Holiday?:   Memorial Day is a public holiday. It is a day off for the general population, and schools and most businesses are closed.

What Do People Do?:   It is traditional to fly the flag of the United States at half staff from dawn until noon. Many people visit cemeteries and memorials, particularly to honor those who have died in military service. Many volunteers place an American flag on each grave in national cemeteries. Memorial Day is combined with Jefferson Davis' Birthday in Mississippi. Memorial Day has become less of an occasion of remembrance. Many people choose to hold picnics, sports events and family gatherings on this weekend. This day is traditionally seen as the start of the summer season for cultural events. For the fashion conscious, it is seen as acceptable to wear white clothing, particularly shoes from Memorial Day until Labor Day. However, fewer and fewer people follow this rule and many wear white clothing throughout the year.

Public Life:   Memorial Day is a federal holiday. All non-essential Government offices are closed, as are schools, businesses and other organizations. Most public transit systems do not run on their regular schedule. Many people see Memorial Day weekend as an opportunity to go on a short vacation or visit family or friends. This can cause some congestion on highways and at airports.

Background:   Memorial Day started as an event to honor Union soldiers who had died during the American Civil War. It was inspired by the way people in the Southern states honored their dead. After World War I, it was extended to include all men and women who died in any war or military action. Memorial Day was originally known as Decoration Day. The current name for this day did not come into use until after World War II. Decoration Day and then Memorial Day used to be held on May 30, regardless of the day of the week, on which it fell. In 1968, the Uniform Holidays Bill was passed as part of a move to use federal holidays to create three-day weekends. This meant that that, from 1971, Memorial Day holiday has been officially observed on the last Monday in May. However, it took a longer period for all American states to recognize the new date.

Ukraine Wants To Export

In 2021, Ukraine (known as “The Breadbasket of Europe” or “The Breadbasket of the World” exported:

Iron, steel: US$13.1 Billion (19.9% of total exports)

Cereals: $11.8 Billion (18%)

Ores, slag, ash: $7 Billion (10.7%)

Animal/vegetable fats, oils, waxes: $6.9 Billion (10.5%)

Electrical machinery, equipment: $3.2 Billion (4.8%)

Machinery including computers: $2.1 Billion (3.2%)

Oil seeds: $2.1 Billion (3.2%)

Wood: $1.9 Billion (2.9%)

Food industry waste, animal fodder: $1.7 Billion (2.6%)

Articles of iron or steel: $1.2 Billion (1.9%)

Ukraine’s top money-making shipments were for: iron ores or concentrates, sunflower-seed or safflower oil, corn, wheat and semi-finished products made from iron or non-alloy steel.

The top Importers of Ukrainian goods was: China (12.1% of the global total), Poland (7.6%), Turkey (6.1%), Russia (5.1%), Italy (4.9%), Germany (4.2%), India (3.8%), Netherlands (3.2%), Egypt (2.9%), Spain (2.5%), Hungary (2.4%) and the United States of America (2.4%).

Because of the Russian Invasion of February 24, 2022 and the constant missiles, bullets, rape, torture and other War Crimes being carried out by the Russians Ukraine hasn’t been able to export much. That has led to shortages and higher prices across: the EU, the UK, Canada, the US, etc.

Ukrainians continue to risk their lives to both defend their homes and their families from the Russians while also going out into the fields to harvest or sow or going to the Mines or the Factories.

They want to export things to the rest of us, but they are being stopped by the Russians (example Mariupol  - which has a large port that many exports go out of - was under Russian Siege for 3 months with between 6,000 and 22,000 Civilians killed.) Now it is under Russian Occupation so anything exported from Mariupol now is stained with the blood of thousands of innocent Ukrainian Men, Women and Children.

If you are annoyed and fed-up with the huge increases and shortages of everything make sure you place the blame where it belongs: on Putin and the Russians.

Write to your local Russian Embassy or Consulate and tell them to end their Genocidal War. Below is a link (in English) where you can click on your country and city and find the website and physical address of the Russian Embassy or Consulate near you.

https://www.embassy-worldwide.com/country/russia/

Also, the more weapons, humanitarian aid and support we continue to give the Ukrainians the sooner they will defeat Russia and the sooner they (the Ukrainians) will be able to export their products to us and we will stop seeing the high prices and shortages.

Mother's Diary Of War

I don’t usually watch CNN because they, like some other media outlets (Fox, etc.), tend to put their own political views on a story instead of telling the whole story and letting us decide for ourselves, but I just watched “A Mother’s Diary of War” about an English-Speaking Ukrainian Mother documenting the Russian Invasion and Attacks on Kyiv and her Family. It was really good.

1,540: Kyiv

Today is the 1,540th Birthday of Kyiv (КоїĐČ), Ukraine - the day it was founded back in 482.

(Pictures of Kyiv - I didn't take)

Note: Moscow is only 875 years old – founded in 1147 – so Ukraine came before Russia despite what Putin and his Nazi Zs now say.

Kyiv ruled over Ukraine and Russia during Kievan Rus Times (879–1240), survived the Mongol Golden Horde (1241 and 1362), were part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (1471–1569), survived the Tsardom of Russia (1667–1721), survived the Russian Czarist Empire (1721–1917), survived the Ukrainian People's Republic (1918–1920), survived the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics  - including Stalin’s Human-Made Famine: the Holodomor where from 1932-1933 3.5 Million to 5 Million People were murdered (1919–1941), survived the Nazi German Occupation – including the Babyn Yar where the Germans murdered 33,771 Jewish Men, Women and Children from September 29-30, 1941 and another 150,000 until 1944 as well as having 40% of your city destroyed -  (1941–1944),  survived the return of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics – including the nearby Chernobyl Disaster in 1986 - (1944–1991), have become the Capital of an independent country since December 1991 – where you have survived the 2004-2005 Orange Revolution, the 2013-2014 EuroMaiden Protests, the Russian invasion and occupation of Crimea in 2014, the Russian fighting in eastern Ukraine in 2014 and the Russian Invasion and attack on Kyiv in 2022.

Weekend Movies

From News Nation:

“Movies to watch this Memorial Day weekend”

Memorial Day weekend is upon us and the summer blockbuster season is fast-approaching. As you’re reading this, you probably just saw “Top Gun: Maverick,” arguably the most anticipated film of 2022, and felt a hefty dose of action and thrill, paired with a healthy serving of nostalgia after seeing Tom Cruise in the cockpit again. Whether you’re feeling patriotic or looking to spend time with friends and family for the unofficial start of summer, here’s a list of other great films to watch over the holiday weekend.

“Saving Private Ryan” (1998) Steven Spielberg’s masterpiece from 1998 follows the story of United States Army Rangers Captain John H. Miller (Tom Hanks) and his soldiers as they search for paratrooper Private first class James Francis Ryan (Matt Damon), the last surviving brother of four as the three other brothers have been killed in combat. (IMDb) Where to stream: Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Paramount+

“Days of Thunder” (1990) Start your engines! Tony Scott’s romantic sports action drama film from 1990 features NASCAR rookie hotshot Cole Trickle (Tom Cruise) and veteran racer Rowdy Burns (Michael Rooker) becoming close friends after beginning racing season as rivals. (IMDb) Where to stream: Hulu, HBO Max

“Top Gun” (1986) To prepare for the release of “Top Gun: Maverick,” it may be a good idea to re-watch the original film as you prepare to re-enter the danger zone and take flight 36 years later. (IMDb) Where to watch: Streaming on Netflix through May 31

“Iron Eagle” (1986) Sidney J. Furie’s action film tells the story of a young pilot planning a rescue mission after his father, an Air Force Colonel, is shot down over enemy territory. (IMDb) Where to stream: HBO Max

“Dunkirk” (2017) Director Christopher Nolan depicts the Dunkirk evacuation of World War II through the perspectives of soldiers on land, water and air. (IMDb) Where to stream: Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video

“Smokey and the Bandit” (1977) Hop in your black Pontiac Trans Am and hit the road with Bo “The Bandit” Darville (Burt Reynolds), Carrie “Frog” (Sally Field), and Cledus “The Snowman” Snow (Jerry Reed), as they try to illegally transport 400 cases of Coors beer from Texarkana to Atlanta while being pursued by Sheriff Buford T. Justice (Jackie Gleason). (IMDb) Where to watch: Peacock

“The Sandlot” (1993) “You’re killing me, Smalls.” Nothing says summer time like a game of pickup baseball. Just try not to hit the ball over the fence as you never know what could be lurking back there. (IMDb) Where to watch: Available to rent on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV

“Caddyshack” (1980) As you clean the rust and dirt off your golf clubs and prepare to hit the links, you may want to revisit what ESPN described as “perhaps the funniest sports movie ever made.” Just don’t expect your golf game to improve much and keep a sharp eye out for any gophers on the course. (IMDb) Where to watch: HBO Max

“National Lampoon’s Vacation” (1983) Three years after “Caddyshack,” the team of Chevy Chase and Harold Ramis returned to the big screen with the release of “National Lampoon’s Vacation” where we meet the Griswolds, a Chicago family that embarks on a cross-country road trip to Walley World, billed as “America’s Favorite Family Fun Park”, while encountering many hilarious hi-jinks along the way. Thankfully, smartphones exist in 2022, so you can now check if your destination will be closed before you go. (IMDb) Where to watch: Available to rent on Amazon Prime Video

“American Graffiti” (1973) George Lucas’ second film in his lengthy filmography was deemed “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant” by the United States Library of Congress in 1995 and was therefore selected for preservation in the National Film Registry. “Glory” (1989) This historical war drama film directed by Edward Zwick tells the story of the 54th Massachusetts Infantry Regime, one of the Union Army’s earliest Black regiments in the American Civil War. (IMDb) Where to stream: Amazon Prime Video

“Pearl Harbor” (2001) Michael Bay’s romantic war drama film features a heavily fictionalized version of the attack on Pearl Harbor by Japanese planes on Dec. 7, 1941, and focuses on a love story set amid the lead to the bombing, its aftermath and the Doolittle Raid. (IMDb) Where to stream: Amazon Prime Video

From Reuters:

“Ukraine's Zelenskiy visits frontline in first official appearance outside Kyiv since invasion”

(Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy visits a position of Ukrainian service members, as Russia's attack on Ukraine continues, in Kharkiv region, Ukraine May 29, 2022.)

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy visited troops on the frontline in Ukraine's northeastern Kharkiv region on Sunday, his first official appearance outside the Kyiv region since the start of Russia's invasion on Feb. 24. "You risk your lives for us all and for our country," the President's office website cited him as telling the soldiers, adding that he handed out commendations and gifts. Zelenskiy's chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, wrote on the Telegram app that the president had also visited Ukraine's second-largest city of Kharkiv. Yermak said Zelenskiy toured destroyed residential buildings, noting that their replacements had to be built with bomb shelters in place. The president's chief of staff added that 31% of Kharkiv region's territory was currently occupied by Russia, and a further 5% had been taken back by Ukraine having been occupied earlier.

United $43 Million

From United24’s Facebook:

The first three weeks of UNITED24 activity have accumulated $43,697,282 in support of Ukraine.

This amount was transferred to the NBU accounts from 5 to 27 May. We thank everyone, who made this result possible. There is real help behind every donation. This time, to counter russian invasion, the funds were used to procure seven special vehicles for the Ukrainian military at the front.

A total of $5,742,627 was allocated for the purchase of transport.

The Ministry of Health spent a total of UAH 26,500,000 ($906,856) on the procurement of 35 artificial lung ventilation devices (ALV) to help doctors save the lives of Ukrainians.

So far, the Ministry of Infrastructure has received $286,149, which is unfortunately not enough to rebuild even a single facility. Therefore, funds for the reconstruction of Ukraine continue to accumulate.

Thank you for each contribution. To make another donation or review the latest reports, go to the:

https://u24.gov.ua

^ We can all help Ukraine in fighting the Russians as well as preparing to rebuild what the Russians destroyed.

And for those that say we should focus only on spending inside the United States: the reason food, gas and everything else around the country and the world is so expensive right now is because of the Russian Invasion of Ukraine.

Ukraine and Russia exported most of what we need and now since one is under constant attack (Ukraine) and the other is a Nazi State (Russia) the sooner we end the War over there the sooner the prices of goods here and elsewhere will go down.

So donate to save. ^

Zelenskyy For US

“Can we change the US Constitution to make Volodymyr Zelenskyy the Leader of the United States? Then give more power to the Federal Government so he can rule over the States too? If we do that then we won’t have the negligence from DC or the State Capitals -like Austin, Sacramento or Albany. We also won’t have to keep mindlessly saying “Thoughts and Prayers” or give fake support when our Officials let us down.”

^ It would be nice if this could happen, but sadly we can only support him as the President of Ukraine as he stands up to both Russia and other countries (ie France, Hungary, etc.) that try to attack – literally and figuratively – his country. ^

Wrong Response

From the BBC:

“Uvalde shooting: Texas shooting response was 'wrong', says official”

Police made the "wrong decision" by failing to storm a classroom in Robb Elementary School as a gunman killed 19 children inside, the chief Texas safety official has said. "If I thought it would help, I would apologise," Steven McCraw said during a heated press conference on Friday. He said officers delayed entering the room because they didn't believe it was still an "active shooter" situation.

But pupils inside made multiple calls begging for police to come. Mr McCraw confirmed there was a 40 minute gap from the police unit's arrival to the moment they decided to storm the classroom where the gunman had barricaded himself. The senior officer on the scene decided to wait until the school janitor arrived with the keys because they thought that either "no kids were at risk" by then or "no one was living anymore". The delayed police response, combined with video footage showing frustrated parents being tackled and handcuffed by police while the gunman was still inside the school, has led to growing public anger and scrutiny of how the police handled the situation.

Anger as Texas police alter key details of shooting The gunman crashed his car near the school at about 11:30 local time, Mr McCraw disclosed, and walked around the building firing "more than one hundred rounds" into classrooms as he looked to get inside. An officer for the school district, who was not on campus at the time, drove immediately to the scene following a 911 call but "drove right by the suspect who was hunkered down behind a vehicle", Mr McCraw said. By 11:35, the assailant had entered the school through a door that was propped open earlier by a teacher, and barricaded himself into a classroom. Police officers followed him into the building minutes later but remained in the hallway.

Mr McCraw confirmed that as many as 19 police officers had gathered outside the classroom but they made no immediate effort to get inside. It was not until 12:51 that a tactical unit entered the classroom and killed him - about 75 minutes after the attack began. The commanding officer on scene - the Uvalde school district's chief of police, who was not present at Friday's news conference - believed the situation was no longer one involving an "active shooter". The description is at odds with the disclosure that at least four emergency 911 calls were made from within the school - some from children barricaded inside with the gunman - begging for police to come.

'Please send the police now' Texas' chief safety official Steven McCraw recounted the emergency 911 calls made from inside the school after the gunman entered.

12:03 - A student called 911, identified herself and whispered that she was in room 112 at the school.

12:10 - She called back, advised there were multiple dead.

12:13 - The same student called for a third time.

12:16 - She rang 911 back and said there were eight to nine students alive.

12:19 - A 911 call was made, by another person - in room 111. She hung up when another student told her to.

12:21 - You could hear over the call that three shots were fired.

12:36 - The initial caller called back, was told to stay on the line and be very quiet. She said he [the gunman] shot the door.

12:43 and 12:47 - She asked 911 to "please send the police now".

12:46 - She [the student] said she could hear the police next door.

12:50 - Shots were fired and could be heard over the call.

12:51 - It was very loud, sounds like officers were moving children out of the room. At that point, the first child that called was outside before the call cut off.

"With the benefit of hindsight where I'm sitting now, of course it was not the right decision. It was the wrong decision. There's no excuse for that," said Mr McCraw. Growing emotional amid a barrage of angry questions following the admission, he called the mistakes "tragic". After the gunman was shot dead, police found as many as 1,657 rounds of ammunition and 60 magazines in his possession. They later ascertained he had forewarned of some of his actions in private messages to a Facebook friend. It was earlier alleged he made the declarations - "I shot my grandmother" and "I'm going to shoot up a school" - as public posts on the platform. Mr McCraw said the suspect had asked his sister to buy him a gun last September but "she flatly refused". In private chat messages with four people on Instagram earlier this year, he discussed buying a gun and asked questions about it. One user responded: "Are you going to shoot up a school or something?" "No, and stop asking dumb questions and you will see," came the reply.

^ Every single Local and State Police Officer that was outside the School while the Massacre was taking place should be fired and criminally charged. The same with their Superiors. They should NEVER be allowed to “protect” anyone else anywhere in the US ever again.

They are a bunch of disgusting cowards that instead of stopping the murder of Children (that that could clearly hear from outside) they attacked and threatened the Children’s Parents outside who were begging the Police to go in and stop the killings.

Ever since Columbine in 1999 (where 13 People were killed and 24 injured) Police Departments at every level across the whole country have been told to not wait inside where there is a School Shooter.

The Local and State Police waited outside for an hour – until the US Federal Border Patrol came and shot the Shooter. There is no excuse anyone can make for that long of a wait. ^

Remember Ukraine

As you get ready to celebrate Memorial Day weekend and go to the market to get the food for your BBQs and complain about the high cost of food or go gas your car up for a road trip and complain about the high cost of gas take a moment to think about who caused these high food and gas prices: Russia.

Putin and his Nazi Zs are trying to hold the World hostage and to bend us to their will, hoping to break our resolve and unity in the hope of saving a few cents.

While we around the World complain about the high cost of everything remember that innocent Men, Women and Children throughout Ukraine are not only dealing with the high cost of things, but also running from Russian Missiles and Bullets.

Ukrainian Fathers are being forced to watch their Children being raped by Russian Soldiers before the Russians then take the Fathers to be tortured, killed and left in the streets or in basements with all the other dead bodies (their hands died behind them as they are shot in the backs.)

Ukrainian Mothers are being forced to see their Children starve to death or killed by the Russians while their Husbands go off to try and protect their Families and to stop the Nazi Zs.

Ukrainian Dogs, Cats, other Pets and Animals are having homemade bombs placed on them by the Russians so that when their Ukrainian Owners go to help or feed them they will both be destroyed by the blast.

I know 3 months seems like a long time to constantly see and hear about what the Russians are doing to the Ukrainians in Putin’s Genocidal War and it would be easy to simply stop watching and reading about their horrible War Crimes or to stop supporting Ukraine with donations or to even say that Ukraine should just give up and let the Russians continue to butcher and rape them, but to do that would be to aid only the Russians in their Crimes and Genocide.

So please continue to complain about the high food and gas prices, but also continue to complain about the Rape, Torture and Murder Putin and his Russian Nazi Zs are doing in Ukraine.

The only way for all of this to end for all of us is to make Putin and his Nazi Zs end their Genocidal War in Ukraine and allow peace to return to a free and independent Ukraine.

Ukraine is the bread basket of both Europe and the World so supporting Ukrainian Victory will end all the high prices as well as all the Russian Crimes and bring Putin and his Zs to International Justice.

Heroes Vs Truth

Even in a School Shooting Politics comes before lives or the truth.

Texan Governor, Greg Abbott, tried to make it sound like the Local and State Police were heroes who rushed right in to save the lives of the children.

In fact they waited an hour outside until the Federal Border Patrol came and they went in.

Those waiting an hour outside in safety are NOT Heroes. They allowed many more children to be brutally  murdered even when the Relatives outside were begging the Police to go in and save them.

Remember when that Armed School Security Guard didn’t help when Children were being shot and killed at Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida in 2018? That Security Guard was charged for not doing his job and allowing 17 to be killed and another 17 wounded.

The Armed Local and State Police in Texas are just as guilty as the Florida Security Guard was and allowed 21 to be killed and 17 wounded (not including the Shooter’s Grandmother.)

The ONLY heroes in all of this are the 2 Unarmed Teachers inside who died trying to save their Children and the Federal Officers who actually went into the School to stop the Gunman while the other Police listened to the massacre from the safety of outside.

I'm not saying I would have been a hero and would have gone inside the school, but I'm also not trained and armed to do that for a living.

While Thoughts and Prayers are well and good there needs to be REAL action, both by those armed and sworn to protect during a shooting as well as afterwards.

Love Over War

From Stand With Ukraine’s Facebook:

Love will always triumph, even over war. I wish all the happiness in the world, as well as a long and blessed life together for Svitlana and Max.

^ Even while Russia tries to exterminate every Ukrainian and wipe Ukraine off the face of the Earth the Ukrainians fall in love, get married and then go back to the Front. ^

Minimal Impact

From Reuters:

“White House expects minimal impact on U.S. and global economy from Russia default”

The White House said on Thursday it expects minimal impact on the U.S. and global economy from a potential Russia debt default as Washington decided to not extend a waiver that enabled Russia to pay U.S. bondholders. "We expect the impact on the U.S. and the global economy to be minimal, given Russia has already been isolated financially," White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre said in a press briefing on Thursday. "That being said, Treasury Department continues to monitor and have conversations with global financial community," she said.

The United States pushed Russia closer to the brink of a historic debt default on Wednesday by not extending its license to pay bondholders, as Washington ramps up pressure following Russia's actions in Ukraine. read more The U.S. Treasury Department said on its website late on Tuesday it would let lapse a license which expired at 12:01 a.m. ET (0401 GMT) on Wednesday and allowed Russia to make interest and maturity payments on its sovereign debt to U.S. persons. That waiver has allowed Russia to keep up government debt payments, but its expiry now appears to make a default inevitable on at least some its $40 billion of international bonds - Russia's first major external one for more than a century. Western sanctions imposed after the Kremlin's Feb. 24 invasion of Ukraine, and countermeasures from Moscow, have complicated the movement of money across borders, yet Russia has made a conscious effort to keep paying bondholders.

^ I hope Russia Defaults and does so soon. It is the only way the Russian Government and the Russian People will see how criminal they are being in Ukraine and will hurt their reputation and economy for years. ^
