From the Kabul Small Animal Rescue’s Facebook:
If only we could all be as sweet
as baby Dylan! Our team in Kabul is working constantly to keep our animals warm
and fed and healthy. I can’t say tirelessly because we are all exhausted beyond
measure. We are so grateful for all the support we get, please keep helping us
spread the word on what we are doing!
In coordination with Taliban and
Qatari security teams at the airport, KSAR has been trapping and removing dogs
on the airfield. Most are feral stray dogs that we neuter and release
elsewhere, but we do still get a trickle in of our released dogs from August.
Today we found Checo, a beautiful older boy we lost in August, and while he's a
bit out of sorts, he's healthy and seems relieved to be near people he knows.
We remain hopeful that we'll find more of our dogs, even as we know the winter
is harsh on them. Please keep sharing around our fundraisers so we can get
these babies home and stay alive and warm until the planes come.
